Common questions

How do I export my data?

Open the app, go to Profile → My Data → Download my data. You'll get a CSV with every meal log and glucose reading you've ever entered.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Profile → Delete account. You'll be asked to type "DELETE" to confirm. Deletion is permanent and removes all your meal logs, glucose readings, and account information within 30 days.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by GlucoBuddy. Open the app, go to Profile → Manage Subscription, which takes you directly to your Apple ID subscriptions page. You can also reach the same page in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

Cancelling stops the auto-renewal but keeps premium access active until the end of your current billing period.

What happens during my free trial?

Premium subscriptions include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You won't be charged until day 8. You can cancel anytime during the trial period in your Apple ID subscriptions page and you won't be billed.

How do I restore a subscription on a new device?

Sign in to GlucoBuddy with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to purchase. Go to Profile → Upgrade and tap "Restore Purchase." Your premium access will reactivate automatically.

I forgot which sign-in I used (Apple or Google)

GlucoBuddy links Apple Sign In and Google Sign In to the same account if they share a verified email address. So whichever you use first, the second one will link automatically as long as the email matches.

My glucose readings don't appear on the day I logged them

Glucose readings logged 1–2 hours after a late-evening meal can cross midnight in your local timezone. The app pairs them with the originating meal, so they appear on the meal's day rather than the day the timestamp falls on. If you spot a reading that's missing entirely, please contact support with the rough date and time.

Is GlucoBuddy a medical device?

No. GlucoBuddy is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your healthcare provider for decisions about diabetes management, insulin, diet, or medication.

What data does GlucoBuddy collect?
